Dr. Jule Schweighoefer

Dr. Schweighoefer is one of our wonderful veterinarians who joined our team in July 2022. She graduated in 2019 from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. After graduation, she moved to the small town of Richiboucto, where she worked at a clinic for almost 3 years before starting at PLC Animal Hospital. Prior to vet school, Jule volunteered and worked at the Winnipeg Humane society Vet Clinic. Her favourite part of working in vet med is seeing a sick pet make a full recovery, seeing them bright and happy, tail wagging, and the smiles on the faces of their family. At home, Jule and her husband Chance have a large pack of German Shepherds, as well as a couple Corgis, a Belgian Malinois, a little mixed breed rescue dog and a tiny little Chihuahua. They also have some cats, reptiles and fish. Besides Veterinary medicine, Jule is also a German Shepherd breeder, who takes pride in breeding healthy, good pedigree dogs.
